Distractions.
I loathe that word.
I don’t think there’s ever a thing as a good distraction. Seriously.
So just now, my distraction was threadless tee. And as Huai commented on my facebook status, “there aint gonna be 1 question in your exam that asks you bout THREADLESS TEES!”
Oh yes, facebook. Another terrible distraction.
Last night, forever21 and asos were my distractions. Oh and that silly kfc incident…
Oh and sleep too! I sleep too much. But uh, I don’t do anything much about it. Hee.
So yes, shopping, food and sleep kills me.
But ah well! I consider them as breaks. Hee.
But what about other distractions? Those that divert you away from the things that matter the most?
I realise that when I’m in assignment/exam mode, these things become such a main focus that they aren’t only my focus, but a distraction at the same time.
And I can hear the Holy Spirit just calling my name and telling me to have a 60-sec conversation with Him. Oh, and how I disobey! Like that voice doesn’t matter at all.
Have I taken my salvation for granted? Have I taken that voice for granted? And when it goes awaI y, I call for Him to come back and dwell within and how He so faithfully comes back all the time but then I commit the same mistake again…
So the challenge to myself and my readers… have those “60-sec conversations” with Him when He asks for them.
Note: 60-sec is just a metaphorical figure…
Haha. I think my blogging mojo is back!
Toodles world!
