And I won’t have to face stats as a subject ever ever again. Unless I get like 100% for Intro Econometrics, I won’t even think about doing Econometrics next year or Basic Econometrics. No neverrrrr! Okay, then again, it’s hard to say… Hmm. I don’t know. I’ll see how it goes. Hee.

Anyway, I’ve been wanting to post this picture since last year, but I never got down to it!

My body clock is one crazy one but I do intend to fix it. I hope Singapore will save me. I mean, I am a morning person in Singapore anyway! Well, kinda. Hee.

My sister’s wedding planner sent me the schedule of the wedding day. All I can say is weddings are scary! I’ve got to get up at 6am that day and I don’t think I’ll get to bed till like past midnight. Oh and I’ve got heaps to do on that day! There should be heaps of photos too! Wheeee.

Ah well, as for now. I shall head back to stats. I’m at dummy variables right now. And I really don’t like it. I think the funniest part of this chapter is ‘don’t fall into the dummy variable trap!’

‘Cause I see sunset in your eyes

It’s Father’s Day in Singapore today. How strange that it is different down under. But yes, remember to wish your fathers!

I’m going home in 6 days and I must the excitement definitely increased heaps when my mom told me yesterday that my dad has booked one one week in advance to not go out this coming Sunday night [not that I ever go out on Sunday nights!] because we’re going to have shabu-shabu as a family. My parents make the BEST shabu shabu in the world! Thinking of all those thin stripes of beef already makes me happy!

Today’s message by Ps Neil Smith was really good! My faith is really stirred and I guess it’s all about asking God for the specifics. But as usual, I must stress that faith without actions is dead! And it’s not me who says it, it’s also from the bible!

And that is why I’m sitting here in front of my laptop doing intro econometrics on a Sunday night.

So yes, one more week to shabu shabu! Yay for me!

And my mom, being my mom has planned my itinerary for next week. Well, not really. Just Monday.

Well, it’ll be back to the chop chop lifestyle again next week- which I, by the way, dearly miss!

And for now, it’s chop chop, if econometrics were a living organism, I would chop it into pieces!

So we’ll see if our deal stuck through when my results come out in July.

And people ask me why I loathe stats so much right. It’s really not the math. It’s the theory and explanation that I don’t like. I don’t like explaining. It’s such a pain!

I rather test all the hypothesises in the world. And write those short one sentence conclusion for you. Why must I explain it. RARR.

Oh I thought this was quite funny. So Ming Xian and I were both staring at our lecture notes.

Ming Xian: What is this! It looks like greek to me!
Shiyou: But it is greek! alpha, beta, gamma, delta et cetera…
Ming Xian: Fine! It looks russian.

Sigh. Sometimes even a figure of speech can’t be use lightly.

Cos when a heart breaks no it don’t breakeven

True love is not just loving the homeless and donating your thousands to various charities.

True love comprises loving people you know personally who annoy you till you wanna pull out all your hair and looking pass all their flaws.

Sometimes, we keep talking about loving the lost. But have you thought of loving those who are at your immediate surrounding? And trust me, they are difficult to love because we expect more from them. Expectation is quite a big deal when we think about how much we truly love a person… 

But if only we knew that we might hold high expectations of those we love, they hold the same kind of expectations as well. The expectation that we’ll love them no matter what and we’ll look pass all their flaws no matter how many times they mess up. 

Isn’t it just sad that sometimes they would rather run to a helpline than to look for you, their friend, because they fear you might judge and not look at them with love?

Cost Management is OVER.

Oh but guess what, I’ve got to take its father subject next year. Bleah. But whatever.

Right now, I just want ob to die.

So Jon Tan sent me that a few days ago and it totally made my day. I can’t believe Jon Tan has such honour. Hahahaha.

OB is the only crap management subject I’ll ever need to take. SO YAY ME.

At 4.30pm tomorrow, I’ll be the happiest person in the world.

Cause the last paper which is intro econometrics is on 23rd!

So I’m going late night shopping on Friday and I’m not going to do anything on Saturday. Well, not anything productive. I want to go to rathdowne village to sew my buttons (HAHA!) and then I’ve got the baptism service to attend at night.

And then I’ll start to ciong intro econometrics on Sunday night.

As you can tell, I’m trying to stay positive. Hahaha.

Exams do not give us a license to be grumpy or to be negative or whatever.

I have come up with a new long term plan.

I’m going to psycho my dad to buy me the macbook pro in dec.

Why?
1. YEAR END BONUSES.He’ll be happier to spend.
2. My current pc will be 3 years old! TIME FOR A CHANGE!
3. The new OS is coming out in sept anyway.
4. It’s CHRISTMAS. The season of giving!

Ah. I’m so smart.

Must be the strategy nonsense I’ve been learning in Cost Management and OB. Hahahhaha.

As you can tell, I’ve been thinking about it for the past erm 5 hours of my life in moomooland.
