And once again, I ask myself…

Am I really cut out for this?

No matter how hard I try, I just can’t sleep early. I tried going to bed at 2am. I tossed and turned for like an hour. So I got up and did some stuff, and then came online. And this isn’t because I woke up late. 

I just can’t sleep early. I remembered in YLSS, I slept like 5-6hours everyday, and I was functioning pretty all right. But no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn’t sleep earlier either. Just sleep at 2am every night and get up at 7ish am. And in Sem 2 last year, when I had to get up by 10:30am for classes, I would still end up sleeping at 3-4am the previous night.

And I’m kinda dying to find out my Biz Fi results. And the things is, I don’t actually know when my results would be out -.-”

This summer has been so good! I wished there’s more. Hurhur.

Oh, I’m thinking about doing this run for kids, and this is going to happen in April. The run is supposedly 15km. The thing is, if I’m serious about it, I really gotta start training now. I don’t even think I can last 2.4km now. Sigh me. 

You know, I actually really really loathe it when people can’t stop annoying me, teasing me et cetera. And when people get all mood-swingy on me, as though they are diagnosed as bipolar. I just don’t show it. Cause I choose not to blow up at people, or get super angry. It’s not because I don’t have the capacity- cause yes, I’ve blown up at my kids in YLSS and they were really sorry about it. And I strongly believe that being angry is punishing yourself with other people’s mistakes/offenses, so I guess I just take it easy.

But the thing is, there’s a limit to everything.

And if you ever hit the limit, you’re really pushing the red button.

Oh, and something happened after discipleship which was super duper awesome =)) Come ask me if you want to know!! I’m so happy, I can’t stop thinking about it.

This summer was indeed a Summer of many firsts. Awesome stuff!

I spent 7 hours of my day playing cards today.

Hee. I spent the first 4.5 hours playing it with Sharon, Rosemary and Tim. Well, Jon Tan played for a bit. This was like after lunch and right before urbanlife.

Then we had urbanlife at verve/milano. It was off the dial. Like really!

Then had dinner and stuff.

Came back to cs. Sharon, Rosemary, Alvin, Billy and I played for like another 2.5hours. Jon Tan played a bit in the beginning. So yes.

So anyway! I met my acjc og mate for lunch just now. Haha. After like 2 years of seeing each other. It was okay larr. Haha.

Dinner last night was yum yum tum tum! Val’s parents brought Chris’ 2 friends and me to fifteen! Yumyum!

SUMMER SEMESTER IS OFFICIALLY OVER. I’m so happy!! biong biong!

I don’t believe in Romeos or heroes anymore

Haha, a million people like moved into college square yesterday.

Yes, once again, I can’t believe I’m in my 2nd year of uni.

And I’m going to finish my summer subject tomorrow cause my exam’s tomorrow.

I think results should be out next week. Everyone, pray for me! Especially those slacking your backsides off doing nothing! Hahaha.

I really want to do well! I really hope this will be my first H1 in uni!

Haha, I always console myself when I don’t do well in Accounting, it’s okay cause I’ll do well in Finance. Well, this is my 1st finance subject in uni! So yes… haha. And then! No more finance till next year!

Well, I know this really isn’t much of an update. Haha.

Oh Sharon cooked steak yesterday for like a million people at Roy’s place. Yummm!

I just can’t wait for tomorrow to be overrr!

Okay, so after YEARS AND YEARS of PAINFUL searching of healing hands season 3, I finally got it.

And it’s just so darn good.

I think I’ve been watching way too many medical shows.

Oh, if I could marry any fictional character in any show/movie. I will marry Paul from Healing Hands. Not the person! The character!

Sigh. Now I want to re-watch season 1 and 2.

Yes, as you can probably tell, Healing Hands is like my all-time favourite drama serial.

It beats House, Gossip Girl, Heroes, Lipstick Jungle et cetera anytime!!

And yes, I’ve got an exam next week and I am hooked on a hk drama serial. Sigh me!

Gonna study for like 2+hours tonight and then it’s back to my hk drama!

This is Emelia. She’s one of my bestest girls ever! And yes, obviously from my group! She’s one DSLR freak too. Haha. 

I miss my kids. Well, from time to time. Especially when I see the group photo that is pasted on my wall in College Square. 

Their nonsense is the funniest larr. Seriously! Haha. 

And this was also one of my bestest boys!

Trivia Night!

Pam! Both of us picked the Mumbai kids at 4am!

So for trivia night, it’s just quiz night. We ask questions and they answer! They were group into groups of course. And we decorated the whole flipping hall with like balloons, drapes. We did the tables nicely blah blah.

Cultural Night!

 For cultural night, the kids performed and stuff .We mentors were in cloaks [Trinity Residential College Culture]. And we did this spooning thing- coolest thing ever.

After all the hard work you put in, and sometimes, even on the crappiest days… the kids really do make you smile. Sometimes, they piss you off. But well, they’re really lovelyyy!

But I can’t and I won’t live a lie. No, not this time.

My mom was totally shocked to hear that it’s 18degrees for 2 days cause it was 44degrees just like 4 days ago. Haha.

I haven’t been doing much, really.

Studying my biz fi. Meeting people, catching up. Blah blah.

According to my mom, my dad was quite elated to hear that it’s 44, cause that means I couldn’t go out, which means I couldn’t go to the city, which means I wouldn’t spend money shopping.

BUT what he doesn’t know is…

The wonderful existence of online shops and a debit card.

So uh yeah. Haha, I was very much secretly amused when my mom was telling me.

Well, they didn’t ask. So I didn’t say anything! Wheeeee.

But I get really annoyed when they don’t deliver stuff to college square. Now, they don’t even bother calling up. They just leave that small note in our letter boxes and we have to go all the way to the post office in carlton [elgin st]. Rarrr.

So much so for online cum lazy shopping. Haha.

Everyone’s coming back! So exciting!!!

Now forever Yours I’ll stand

So I got that off the PostSecret Website.

I find it so true.

I was catching up with Ariel and Cong right. And we were talking about my course [commerce]. And I said I’m so flustered sometimes because all my education from primary school to trinity college was like all wasted in a sense because I never applied any of those sciences or humanities to my degree now. 

And as I look at that, I’m like. We always say we’re so caught up in the world and blah blah, and it has become a cliche.

But well, cliches aren’t cliches if they aren’t true right? 

I think that’s why people like to read or watch movies/shows whatever. Because we like to run off/escape to those fantasies where yes, life involves work and schooling but there’s always that happy ending or happy process [Well, I can't say all books and movies end happily right. Haha].

Decisions decisions decisions.

Being the indecisive person that I am, I honestly don’t know what I’ll do when I have to make decisions. And I’ve got a sinking feeling that I’ve got to make a decision soon… 

So we’ll just see how God leads yeah.

Okay, I really need to study. My exam’s just 1.5 weeks away!

If anyone wants to bring food to me, I’ll gladly take it! HAHA.
